Columbia River Artists on Bikes!
Columbia River Artists on Bikes is a monthly group bicycle ride that takes artists on a tour of southern Columbia County and its majestic landscape.
This slow-paced, beginner-friendly group bicycle ride takes you to several beautiful locations in the south Columbia County area including Saint Helens, Columbia City, Warren (Scappoose Bay), and Scappoose (routes and destinations vary by month). We will stop along the route and enjoy the views and nature while drawing/sketching and making new friends. The ride will begin and end at the Floy Preslar Gallery. Advance registration and signed liability waiver are required. You must have a well-maintained and well-equipped bicycle, and a helmet in order to participate. Maximum participants per group: 7.
Saturday, July 28
Route and attractions: TBD
If you are coming by public transit (Columbia County Rider), meet in front of the Starbucks (the one with drive-thru, not the one inside the Safeway) instead so you won't get lost in an unfamiliar setting. (Please notify in advance if you're intending to meet the group at the Starbucks.)
The registration fee is $25 per person per ride.
Advance registration is required. Register here
Refund policy: No refunds; in case the event is cancelled due to weather, you will get a registration for another future date. There will be several of this event during the summer and early fall of 2018.
